Nineteen Minutes (Inspired by Jodi Picoult)

This is it, the end.

They started it, they deserve it

Even though I know this,

My hands and legs are shaking

I am so detached, feeling nothing

Because I know I am right

I smile as I see them running,

Running away from me

The shots sound so distant

Although it is my gun

The people who bullied me for years

Lying in their own blood on the floor

Now I can finally live in peace

Because they are dead in hell

It is really quite simple

I killed them before they killed me.
