Our Seventh Valentines (A Day Early!)

Our seventh valentine’s together

When others are married by their third,

And have the kids by their fifth,

Then divorced by their sixth

 

Every wedding that’s  announced

All end’s in tears before the day

As they rush to the alter

Before really knowing one another

 

Friends since I was 16, together since I was 20

Living together at 24, engaged on my 26th

Now I am twenty seven

And you are now the old age of 30 ; )

 

I know you so completely

Just as much as you know me

So I know I will see you,

At the alter, next year
