Poem's About Love

Poetry 28

The wind whistled your name

Lifting the leaves on it’s breath,

Swirling around me where I am curled,

Telling me I will be o.k

That this hole in my chest will be filled by someone else,

Someone else that will not be you.

Holding myself tighter I can see your watery face in my tears pooling beside me

Like a promise to myself I whisper over and over

I love you, I love you.
